Sexing the what?

This blog will be a silly, gleefully perverse and hopefully humorous outpouring of many of the most ridiculous things I have thought while watching TV adaptations of Poirot and Miss Marple and, more importantly, as I finally experience all those mysteries in their true form (i.e., actually read them). If you don't know what it is to realize, after a few glasses of wine, that X episode of Poirot features brothers Alfred and Harold, while Y episode of Marple features brothers Harold and Alfred, and that you somehow missed this the first dozen times you saw them, well, you just don't know the kind of fun some of us have.

The emphasis will definitely be on silly. Because my real blog is only a little bit silly, and I'm actually quite a silly person.

Also, Henrietta Savernake (as depicted in the ITV adaptation of The Hollow starring David Suchet) is my style icon.

What now?

It all started one night when I was, as is my wont, re-watching my favorite ITV production of a Poirot novel and, as sometimes happens when my Agatha Christie–watching partner isn’t there to banter with me in person, I took to Twitter to complain about a bit of a hole in the plot.
